Anyone got some hot tips for top performers?
Im still experimenting. I really want to get some of the top online records, most wickets would be nice.
Would really like to know if theres any advantages of certain countries over others? Do the different country leagues have different numbers of games?

I generally find that pace bowlers take more wickets

For me, subcontinent guys perform better if I look at my records.
What is your guys views on appointing coaches, physio, marketing guys, performance analyst? More importantly, when do you look to appoint whom?
What is your strategy when you start?

My staff appointments
Second grade - Head coach at around $50-60
First grade - Add on batting and bowling coaches at $60 each
First class - Upgrade the coaches, appoint a physiotherapist (minimum level 2)
International - Upgrade the coaches and physiotherapist to level 3 or 4 (money permitting), keep an eye out for a level 2 marketing manager, and a level 2 financial manager at sub $2000 each, appoint a sports psychologist if my player has poor mentality

Looking at the top records and my records I've seen that spin bowlers in the northern hemisphere and medium paced bowlers in the southern hemisphere do well. When I was a Australian medium paced bowler I got to international at 22 years old and was captain at 24, sadly I fell into the temptation of an village activity which offered 2 million dollars. Hoping an academy came up I got banned from cricket before I could get one  |

Struggling to really make any headway with this game.
What is everyone elses strategy with training attributes? Do you try and max out anything in particular first? I try to get Strength, Flair and Intelligence up first in the hopes that I will have a good strike rate and get made captain earlier, but that seems to fail once I get to First Class and beyond.

Improve on a single skill. Make your player a batsman or a bowler. Don't try to make him average at both.
For a batsman max out his Flair and for a bowler max out his heart. Then focus on intelligence (for captaincy) and then agility(reducing injury chance).
To keep your player completely fit change focus on physio after every match on what he lacks. Increase upgrades on physio after every match.
If your player immediately doesn't get a contract of above 50k in both local and overseas first-class teams, start over. Choose your player only from India, England, South Africa or Australia. Other nations are too weak for your player to win matches for single-handedly.
After around age 30, your player's attributes start shrinking. Change your player's training intensity to standard.
Don't get a marketing manager or invest on branding till you hit a big T20 league contract.
