aaargh! Its so frustrating when a promising 2nd grader fails to perform at the higher levels... but its what makes the game so much fun.
Share some pics or stats her to show off those players here!
I will go first...
Hes still my current player but hasnt gone on to show the greatness that he offered up in this performance in 2nd grade in an under 19s Tour

Geez, that is one impressive performance. 7 wickets and a century in the same match Will be interesting to see how the career turns out. It is generally a good sign if the player performs well in the early stages.

He struggled at the start of his First class career... miserably... but has pulled his bowling average down from an abismal 80 after 15 matches to 20 after 70 matches... and just debuted for South Africa Vs India at 21 years old, Scoring 112(52) and taking 3/32. So yeah.. maybe hes not as dissapointing as first thought.
UPDATE: Ugh.. picked up a 4 week injury in that game though

Oh well.. not a bad career after all... Retiring at the ripe old age of 36, this was one of my longest careers. His bowling average slipped towards the end quite badly, after hovering around 19-20 at international, ended at 28. He did however end up as my top wicket taker at both levels with 179 International and 436 First Class scalps, Taking 2 International 5 wicket hauls, and provided my best International bowling of 5/38, I was also surprised with his batting, racking up a total of 7 tons at the top level, top score of 158, And ended up with my second highest number of International caps, 148. G. Smith (South Africa)Now to see what his academy produces...

Let's see if my current bowling all-rounder can carry on some of the 2nd grade form he was in. I've included a great 1st grade game of his too. Introducing - Badman Ganja of WI! Just made his first class debut at 17. Wish me luck! Attachments:
